Keyword Search Tips

You can use spaces between words to indicate and.

You can also use and, or, not, and * (for wildcard word endings).

For example, type:

  • Pfizer AND Novartis for articles about both companies.
  • Pfizer OR Novartis for articles about either company.
  • Pfizer NOT Novartis for articles about Pfizer but not about Novartis.

To search for an exact phrase, place it in quote marks. To search for a phrase or headline that includes or ends with a question mark, use an asterisk (*) instead of the question mark (?).

To search for company names that include an asterisk in their name, replace the asterisk with period . For example, type S.BIO instead of S*BIO.

To search using any parameters combined with or instead of Keyword or Article #, you must click the "GO" button on the right side of the page after entering your selections even if you already have other parameters selected from a previous search and only changed the search term.
